Y ¡hala! A leer...

AC Comics has survived for decades in the difficult direct comic market of USA. His strategy is based in 2 things: tits & nostalgia. In one hand , his most famous title, Femforce, has been published since 1985, telling stories about a group of female super heroes with stories who, in some way or other, goes back to Golden Age characters published for companies no longer in the comic market. On the other hand they have reedited old stories that you cannot read it in his original publications (unless you got the wallet of Bill Gates, of course). The guys definitively knows what they want and how to do it , so they must be commended for his work (even when I recognize that most stories of the Golden Age, no matter what genre, are childish and not very good , even in their terms).
It was logical that someday, they were going to publish a comic reprinting stories of Sheena ans Shhena-like characters. And that is how Jungle Girls was born in 1989. The title endured 16 numbers, mostly dedicated to reprints. One of them, the number 9 (from 1992), is posted here in its integrity.
About the characters in the comic: I have written about Camilla here (you need to read Spanish , sorry) and I have posted before the Tara story here (and explained that it was an old story rewritten to fit the Tara character –who is one of the Femforce- in it). About Tiger Girl & Sheena you have got to wait for its respectives entry in upcoming Colgados de las Lianas’ articles (I am going to do, honest... gimme time...)
Well, you can read this comic as a pdf downloable (for only 15 days) following this link or you can read the book page after page is you scrool down. So, ¡go , guys & gals, go and read that stuff...!
